A fixture of the downtown NYC music scene in the early ’00s - with a string of four recent studio albums - they defined the era and crystallized it via crisp, clear sound, sharp on-stage dress and shows at legendary NYC venues like Mercury Lounge. ![]() ![]() Two special shows on American soil to commemorate a stellar indie rock album.Īs I write this, I’m listening to the album called out in the headline of this post - that is, “ Turn On the Bright Lights,” the classic 2002 indie rock album from post-punk revival leaders Interpol.
